(#S28) The Rotary Contactor is used when heat penetration testing is conducted on cans that rotate on their axis, in an FMC Steritort. The rotating parts are small in diameter to reduce frictional torque. The rotor may be removed for cleaning by removing a snap ring. The rotary contactor includes 34" (0.86 m) of custom designed wire, with TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) overwrap for ultimate protection. A Male Locking Thermocouple Connector is installed on the end to connect to the Hub installed in the FMC Steritort.
