Male Thermocouple Connector

Male Thermocouple Connector

The Male Thermocouple Connector is attached to the end of a Heat Penetration Lead Wire and plugs into a Needle Thermocouple, Flexible Thermocouple, or a Female Thermocouple Connector. The male connector has two plugs (one copper, one constantan) that plug into a thermocouple installed in a container. Male connectors can be either Locking (#C10) or Non-Locking (#C6). Non-Locking connectors can be used in most situations (unless a secure connection is required), and work with Non-Locking Receptacles. Locking connectors are used when agitation or stress might cause the connector to become disconnected from the thermocouple (such as with rotational or agitating retorts), and include a threaded ring that screws onto the external thread on a Locking Receptacle

For information on the connector installed on a wire, visit our Heat Penetration Lead Wires or Temperature Distribution Lead Wires pages.
