(#C24FL-2) A specially designed “flange type” Packing Gland made of aluminum and stainless steel fittings allows for the wires to be installed through the retort shell without loss of steam pressure. The packing gland is installed into an open port in the retort shell and is designed for high pressure usage. The wires are routed through the packing gland, and the flange is secured by fastening the plate and gasket tightly over the wires. The packing gland has a 2" threading to fit onto a 2" diameter port on the retort. If the size of the port is different, a reducer/bushing can be used.
