Combination Can Punch and Countersink

Combination Can Punch and Countersink

A Combination Can Punch and Countersink (#C11) is a two-part draw-through tool that is used to manually punch a hole in the bottom of a can. First, an awl is used to punch a small pilot hole in the bottom of the can. Next, the combination can punch/countersink is centered along the hole punched with the awl: one part on the inside of the can, the other part on the outside of the can. Then the two parts (the punch and the die) are screwed together, which draws them together and punches a 9/16" hole, permitting the installation of an Ecklund Thermocouple Receptacle (which a Needle Thermocouple can then install into). The C11 can be purchase by itself, or an awl can be purchased with it (#C11-A).
